Service Description

Sometimes it’s difficult to know just what to say or how to show up for our friends and loved ones or their friends and loved ones. Whether a death is caused by accident (traumatic/sudden) or is due to an illness or disease or even for the aged, knowing how best to be supportive doesn’t come automatically for many of us. If we haven’t experienced death up close in life how would we know? The topic of dying and death is uncomfortable for many people and as our population ages and care will fall to younger loved ones, many are asking what to do. This half day session will address many questions that are commonly asked about what is helpful (and not) in supporting a person in the final transition of life. There are also ways to support someone you know who becomes a caregiver, for a loved one as well.
